چکیده

A polynomial approach is pursued for locally stabilizing discrete-time linear systems subject to input constraints. Using the Youla-Ku cera parametrization and geometric properties of polyhedra and ellipsoids, the problem of simultaneously deriving a stabilizing controller and the corresponding stability region is cast into standard convex optimization problems solved by linear, second-order cone and semideenite programming. Key topics are touched on such as stabilization of MIMO plants or maximization of the size of the stability domain. Readily implementable algorithms are described. Their applicability is illustrated with several numerical examples.

A Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) Approach to Robust Model Predictive Control (RMPC) Design in Nonlinear Uncertain Systems Subjected to Control Input Constraint

In this paper, a robust model predictive control (MPC) algorithm is addressed for nonlinear uncertain systems in presence of the control input constraint. For achieving this goal, firstly, the additive and polytopic uncertainties are formulated in the nonlinear uncertain systems. Then, the control policy can be demonstrated as a state feedback control law in order to minimize a given cost funct...

Robust Model Predictive Control for a Class of Discrete Nonlinear systems

This paper presents a robust model predictive control scheme for a class of discrete-time nonlinear systems subject to state and input constraints. Each subsystem is composed of a nominal LTI part and an additive uncertain non-linear time-varying function which satisfies a quadratic constraint. Using the dual-mode MPC stability theory, a sufficient condition is constructed for synthesizing the ...

Control of linear systems subject to input constraints : a polynomial approach . Part I { SISO plants

A polynomial approach is pursued for locally stabilizing discrete-time linear systems subject to input constraints. Using the Youla-Ku cera parametrization and the extended Farkas lemma, the problem of guaranteeing closed-loop stability for any initial condition chosen in a given polyhedron of the state-space is formulated as a linear programming feasibility problem. This paper, as the rst of a...

PD Controller Design with H¥ Performance for Linear Systems with Input Delay

This paper presents H∞ control problem for input-delayed systems. A neutral system approach is considered to the design of PD controller for input delay systems in presence of uncertain time-invariant delay. Using this approach, the resulting closed-loop system turns into a specific time-delay system of neutral type. The significant specification of this neutral system is that its delayed coeff...
